Biography

Jennifer Veal was born in Coventry, England on the 7th September 1991.

Ever since she was a young girl at the age of 5 she loved to sing, dance, act and entertain. Her first lead performing role was the character of Baby June in the Warwick Arts Centre performance of "Gypsy" at the tender age of seven. The young Jennifer loved being on stage so much that by the age of nine she began travelling weekly from Coventry to London to Italia Conti Theatre School as an associate 9-5 on Saturdays. She clearly had a flair for performing and was accepted onto Italia Conti's agency. This led to her West End debut in "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" at The London Palladium, working with stars such as Michael Ball, Gary Wilmott and Wayne Sleep. Soon after, she was offered a place at the prestigious Sylvia Young Theatre School, London. Although this meant living away from home on weekdays, she pursued her dream and has never looked back.

The stage certainly took a shine to Jennifer and she went on to perform for the Queen at the Royal Variety Performance in 2005 singing with the phenomenal foursome Il Divo. That was definitely a goal ticked off her list, but she was determined not to stop there. Also in 2005, Jennifer joined the Opening Cast of "Billy Elliot", performing three nights a week and extra matinees. She worked alongside Elton John, Stephen Daldry and Tim Healy. She took part in strenuous rehearsals for over a year while still managing to achieve her academic grades.

Jennifer held the role of Lucy for two series in the Disney Channel's UK version of their global show "As The Bell Rings". During her time on the show, Jennifer represented The Disney Channel attending premieres with Miley Cyrus and the cast of High School Musical.

Jennifer has also excelled in the world of voice and radio, and has been involved in various radio plays for BBC Radio 4 such as "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" and "Treasure Seekers." She played an Ostrich for two series on the hit children's show Hana's Helpline, which has been airing since early 2008 and is still showing week days on Channel 5. She very much enjoyed playing an animated character and has since held animation as something of a passion.

Jennifer spent five wonderful years at Sylvia Young Theatre School, and left in 2008 with 10 GCSEs: an A*, Four As, Four Bs and a C – Very commendable considering she spent 44% of her time there and the 56% out of school for professional working reasons.

After leaving school, Jennifer was ecstatic to be represented by Rossmore Management in London , but her hunger for success led her to follow her dream to the Bright Lights of Los Angeles. She was extremely well received and is now represented by Rob D'Avola & Associates who have been widely successful in the US for over 30 years.

Jennifer now splits her time between LA and London.

While in LA, Jennifer has been training with Kimberly Jentzen and Aaron Speiser, as well as working closely with animation voice coach Tony Gonzales.

While in London, Jennifer trains at Central School of Speech and Drama where she was recently delighted to have been accepted a year early to study for a Higher Diploma. She also has singing lessons with David and Carrie Grant, and dances at Pineapple Studios.

Jennifer has an incredibly close and supportive family and says they are her inspiration. She is young, beautiful, intelligent and funny, and nothing if not ambitious!

"There's no stopping me!" She says.

We're inclined to believe her!
